Most are available in supermarkets, high street stores, or charity shops. All offer vegan products and are certified cruelty-free by Naturewatch and/or Cruelty Free International.

Aldi UK

Aldi cleaning products.

All Aldi UK own brand (Almat, Magnum, Scentcerity, Powerforce),  household products are Leaping Bunny approved. Some products may contain animal ingredients, so do check that they are vegan.

Astonish cleaning products

West Yorkshire based, proud pioneers of animal-friendly cleaning and personal care products, never tested on animals and completely vegan.

BioD


Bio D cleaning products

All Bio D products are vegan and cruelty free with no exceptions.

They are a member of the Vegan Society and Cruelty Free International following their strict guidelines to help put an end to animal testing.

Available online, from independent businesses, and some Oxfam shops.

Co-op

Co-op household products.

Since the 1990s the Co-op has actively campaigned to end animal testing on toiletry and household products.

Co-op offer a wide range of own-label home cleaning items, laundry and dish washing liquids, disinfectants, and home fragrance. All are approved under the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny programme, but some products may contain animal ingredients, so do check that they are vegan.





Ecover

Ecover household products.

Ecover have been Leaping Bunny certified since 2011 and rigorously stick by the strict standards set by Cruelty Free International.

They use no animal or insect-derived substances in any of their products. Because, they say, the animal industry has significant environmental impacts on water systems, land use and climate change.

Widely available in supermarkets and High St shops.

Faith in Nature

Keep your home cleaner and greener with a little help from Nature. Cleaning products shouldn’t dirty the planet, so Faith in Nature pay special attention to what goes down the plughole. Their household liquids are gentle on the environment and effective at their jobs. And to help save on plastic, they also come in big refill bottles.

Lidl UK

Lidl household products.

All of Lidl’s own brand household products (W5, Formil) are approved under the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny programme.

Some products may contain animal ingredients so do check that they are vegan.

Marks and Spencer

Marks and Spencer household products.

M&S retail a wide range of own-brand household products, all of which are certified cruelty free by Cruelty Free International and carry the Leaping Bunny logo. M&S have been approved by the Leaping Bunny programme since 2007.

Their range includes sprays for cleaning surfaces, bathrooms, kitchens and floors, along with laundry liquids and fabric conditioners.
